To apply for AFCAT 01/2026, you must fulfil the following minimal criteria:
Nationality
You must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit
Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years (as of 1 January 2027)
Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical): Up to 26 years
Flying Branch: Must have passed with minimum 50% in Physics & Maths at 10+2 level AND a minimum three‐year degree (with 60% or equivalent) from a recognised University.Ground Duty: For Technical, similar 50% in Physics & Maths at 10+2 + degree/engineering qualification. For Non-Technical, relevant graduation/qualification as per branch.
